about

A Disney classic done Bones Jugs' way, and another song encouraging frugality. The trombone and trumpet are a nod to Louis Armstrong, who recorded this song in 1967. Did you know that pawpaws are a fruit indigenous to the Midwest United States? In some parts of the world though, people call papayas pawpaws. That is surely what is referenced in the song, since the midwestern pawpaws wouldn't be found in the tropical setting of The Jungle Book.
